Sympathies. It could be worth more to break if your ins. co. allow a buy back or reduced settlement, either way haggle, never accept thier first offer.
Large damage at low speed impacts equates to low injuries @ higher speed impacts, hence the mess.

I think the inner wing could be ok?  May just get away with bonnet, bumper, wing and slam panel?

Yes, I would check the inner wing and front box section before condemning it. You are going to have to smack the front pretty hard to upset the steering and suspension.

You might find the damage is confined to the bumper, bonnet, headlight and poss radiator. These are all bolt on bits designed to be easily replaceable. There are a lot of cars going for scrappage so you could poss pick up bits for a reasonable fee. Depending on your insurance, if comp then take the dosh and run, if 3rd party could poss sort for not a lot.

Bada-bing, bada-boom.  Get the estate booked in for an MOT (if you can get a deal sorted) at a garage of your convenience.  Get the bits you need off the estate, sell the rest on here.  Scrap man takes the rest off your hands.  Job done.

But it all depends on how much you want to keep your Mig?

The damage looks all bolt-on to me from the pics, then a geom-check at WIM.

Thanks everyone for the Tea and Sympathy, much appreciated.

Which ever way we look at it, as things stand we can't afford to run a car at the minute, even if we did get it fixed, so I'm afraid it's going.

Will start saving(yeah right!!!) with the bit of extra we'll have now and 2-3 years time have enough for a 12 year old out of T&T Micra!!!
Whooop-de-fekking-whooooo.

Thanks again for your help and advice. Thumbs Up!

Gary
