I've just spoken to him on the phone & am now able to divulge a little more. In a nutshell it's looking like the end of a long marriage & 3 kids. He's not allowed in his own house & staying at a mate's with no internet access. He can go on facebook via his phone but can't get onto OOF, can't get into his house or garage so apologies on his behalf for those who are understandably miffed at not receiving parts they've paid for. I know this doesn't help folk who are waiting but at least now you have some sort of explanation.
Please bear in mind the bloke does'nt even know whether he can keep his house or how his future lies. Life deals us all a rough hand at times. We will try to put things right as soon as we can.
He's having to sell his Mig as well which he took ages looking for & then making it his own. It's a silver 3.0 MV6 manual estate (rare) With Irmy bodykit & massive wheels. Loads more, he's gutted to let her go bgut that's the way it is. He won't be enjoying the chrimbo most of us are looking forward to.

Guy, thanks for the update. sorry to hear things are not looking so good for the fella.....

If its any help, he can get good web/internet access via his local library to the likes of citizens advice and other help fora (including OOF... Wink

) should he need to contact anyone personally about his situation. Thumbs Up!

As said via PM, the chap needs to inform folks personally, as best as possible, as to his future intentions.

Without sounding too heartless, his slack is already cut, as per my PM to you and he, and it appears MM needs to tidy OOF loose ends, as well as others. Cash in from one place = cash out to others, and all that....

Thanks for the info. Guy although i had heard from him via Facebook and did know something of his situation although not to what extent but did tell Mark that i would respect his privacy and not divulge anything Lips Sealed

I do as i dare say most on hear hope he manages to sort something with his Wife for the sake of his Family especially at this time of year, but whatever the outcome wish him the best Thumbs Up!

Fair comment Broocie albeit a tad clinical. I have to admit in his position (i have been) my last thought would be visiting a library to answer questions on a few parts when my head's up my a**e & working silly shift hours. I understand folks feelings if they hav'nt recieved parts they've paid for & also appreciate your position as an admin representing the forum & it's members but have a little compassion please.
Once again i'll personally reimburse any members that need thier money returned if they can't afford to wait which i quite understand...no hard feelings to any of you & apologies for any inconvenience. Guy.

Not a nice place for MM to be at any time -- even worse as christmas looms. I can fully understand that OOF n( with respect to the members) will be very low on the radar at the moment.

Would it be an idea for those members owed money to contact H21 to say whether they are willing to hold fire in the circs, and if all agree, the matter can be put on hold for an agreed time. If they are not happy they can, as offered, get a refund off Guy and the matter put to bed.

Just a thought.

Heart goes out to the guy, I too was at the end of a long relationship exactly 10 yrs ago this week and it destroyed my Christmases for about 4 years after that too......

However, in my opinion, this guy has other peoples car parts/money and really needs to sit down and sort it out, sooner rather than later.....

He wasnt too stressed/busy to be taking other peoples money, so he cant be too stressed/busy to sort it out.......

Just my opinion........!!

I agree Webby, I feel sorry for the guy, but wasn't he saying on bookface that he enjoyed his night out on the lash, he has time for this etc but not to sort out people's stuff that they've bought from him out. I don't know him but he has taken people's money without an issue Undecided

A night on the pop can be at least a temporary mental break but i do take on board & understand what some of you are saying. If i pay for something then i want/need, & am rightfully due it, fair go.
As said i am prepared to reimburse anyone thier pennies (MM can work it off on the Beastie). I know this does'nt entirely put things right but it's the best i can do for now. Guy. Thumbs Up!
