Hi Ian. Hav'nt seen your van yet but will at the Spring Yorkmeet. Mine is a 1989 (F or G reg) Elddis whirlwind GTX...sounds good! It's had some serious damp at the front before i bought it to the extent the whole 3 front windows were ripped out & refitted, not a pretty job but as you say it does'nt smell damp or musty. Galv. chassis, solid floor, heating, cooking, shower etc. £200. It'll die one day but will owe me nothing. No more tents for me!!!!
thats the way to do it in my eyes buy em chep and when theyre knaffed throw em and get another,yer never lose money on em
