Nope I have not been stuck at all, it has been a little slippery in places but before today nothing to complain about.

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

Went through Fairoak as well as I work not far from you.
Southampton was in general a nightmare and they closed Wickham off by 07:30.

Manual or auto?

Still a dedicated manual gearbox enthusiast for the real driver involvement bit but, in terms of sheer 'lets get to work' factor, the autobox with the snow function really works for me.

To say i am pleasantly surprised is an understatement.

We get snow up here perhaps more regularly than you southern 'cheps' and its behaved faultlessly and with no small level of fun.    Wink   Thumbs Up!

I must say, apart from an incident meaning I could only reverse up my drive, the MV6 auto has behaved impeccably in this weather, despite cars spinning off all around me.

I find the 3.2 auto very controllable. No need for the snow mode in most cases.

The driveway has been challenging a few times, mainly because I can't carry enough speed into it. Roll Eyes

Filling the boot with logs and bags of coal was a good move.
