TD thermostat question...

Changed my thermostat yesterday along with a good flush (loads of crud out) and refill with fresh red coolant but I didn't get any seals with the thermostat. Any idea on what seals it should have? I ask because I had a blast up the M6 the early hours of this morning and I swear the level has dropped slightly. So I'd rather change the seals now than wait and realise too late I've lost all my coolant.

Dec 2009 at 19:53 I can't speak for the diesel but when I changed the stat on my V6 earlier in the year I got most of the air out after a bit of local driving but I needed to top it up again after a 200 mile motorway trip. Had me worried but it doesn't seem to have dropped since.
