Hi Folks
Need a cambelt changing on my
2.2 lpg cd saloon 2003 Omega
Its now done 40 k since I last had it done
Do not want to waste my dosh at the usual place
Any ideas and costs involved.
Near Heathrow weekdays and Brackley weekends
Fancy doing car sharing, thats exactly same as me

I have done 2.2 belts,
but i can never get the feker back around the tensioner on my own
I would imagine that the 2.2 is the same as the 2.0.
I found that the easiest way was to leave the Idle
Pulley next to the tensioner off. Fit the rest of the
belt, position the idler into the belt, push on the idler
so that it takes up all the slack and then it pops onto
its mounting, complete with belt, fairly easily.
Worth a try next time you do one.
