Plus the Vodka And Tonic saving to.

On the 2.6/3.2, when re-routing the cable I remove the cable tray lid and use a pair of wire cutters to remove a 5mm wide section of the side of the lower tray.

Then pull the crank sensor wire which is part of the main loom back (you have to rip through the fabric tape) and feed it throught the newly created hole.

Re-fit the cable tray lid and connect it all up and jobs a good un

As I've not done one ....... couple of hours ?? and is it worth popping off the scuttle to get to the main connector ??

Feb 2010 at 21:04 yeh scuttle off gives better access.....the biggest challenge is removing the cable tray cover! sub 1 hour job.....sub 30 mins for me!

Feb 2010 at 15:08 Done and dusted ... but didn't do the cable tray bit, just tie-wrapped the new cable well out of the way. Snow started as we lifted the bonnet .. and stopped as we lowered it off the stand .... bloody typical !!! Starts nicely now
