Car won't start

Hi everyone i have a problem with my car it won't start the car has been on my driveway for about 6mths without being used the reason for not being used is a long story. Anyway i just like to know if anyone on here can solve the problem i've taken the battery out and put it on charge and when its fully charge i put it back in the car and turn the key over and i get the alarm going off and some off the symbols come up on the dashboard but the engine is not turning over i do have petrol in the tank so can anyone on here please advice me what to do thanks.

Feb 2010 at 21:22 thanks for the advice rustym95 and the boy cos the battery is flat i have to use the key to open the door but normanlly i open the with the fob. I also think the battery is flat too and i'm thinking getting a jump start

Feb 2010 at 21:23 Yeh....jump start required without doubt. The immobiliser on post 96 cars will not stop the engine from being cranked....
