I saw some on ebay in the last couple of days, very cheap, not sure if the auction has finished yet though.

I bought what I was told were projector lamps off of ebay to fit to a 96 omega to replace the yellowed original lights, unfortunately it would appear that they are the HID version. Does anyone know what additional parts are needed? At the moment the obvious one I am missing is a loom connection to the 2 pin connection on the high voltage 'ECU'? mounted to the bottom of the headlamp.
Unless I have become confused I understood there was the 'original lamp' fitted to base models which was then replaced with a light referred to as 'projector lamps' (at minor facelift) and then the top of the range 'HID lamps' fitted to models pre major face lift.
Any assistance, clarification and education would be gratefully received.
Regards

the difference between them all, as far as i can tell, is that the normal ones are normal and go yellow, Projectors are the headlamps that have the Hella lamp inside them (like a little bubble which is th main beam) and the HID head lamps use the projector headlamp housing, but have HID Xenon lamps.

U may also need the Ballasts as well. And iirc, apparently only Elite spec pre facelift had the loom for HID... im more than likely wrong so dont hold me to it Undecided Thumbs Up!
