I agree with the answers already stated above, it's just telling you it may be in the wrong mode for the temperature conditions prevailing, as it's only ever done it since the cold/damp weather started.

Mar 2010 at 11:49 ECO flashes to remind the driver that it's in ECO mode as far as I can tell. Not noticed it ever not flashing in certain conditions. It can be disabled by Tech 2. Not sure why. I guess GM got sick of customers asking why it flashes. Kevin
