Right, i recently had a nice Elite come in stock, with a coloured screen.
The front of the 2013 had come away from the unit.
It had previously been repaired, he sent it off for a new front pannel chipboard, and the guy refitted it wrong then the front had obviousely come off.

I very carefuly put the unit back to gether, but did not glue the front on, i tested it and it worked.

I was unhappy retailing the car with a possibility of failure, so i bought a 2013 with a GID (monochrome display) from a specialist.

I put the new 2013 into the car, and paired it using tech 2 and the cars security code.  Hey presto all good.


Now, FOR SALE:
The GID Screen (monochrome sat nav screen), and the NCDC 2013 (which need the front pannel glueing bag on once the pins are aligned. ( i assure u i have had it working but didnt pair it back to the car, it was left unpaired)

Simple fix will make someone a tidy upgrade perhaps?

Make me an offer close to £200 and its yours.

I am not auctioning this, but the highest decent offer by saturday will secure this.

thanks mark, i have updated the listing, what is the fix? as i might be inclinded to get it going first, but would prefer to sell as is. as no time at the moment with work, the ute, the police car, and that thing called life lol

The elite i am stripping at the mo has one of these in so am i right in saying u cant just take them out and put them in another omega?

Only work if you have a vehicle fitted with the correct loom..... Though there a few of us have made up modded looms now!

I'll have to do a How To at some point!
