Facelift MID and saloon stalk with S/R buttons for MID, and the variable dial for inttermittent wipe. Is that what you're after?

Its bonded and you'll have to damage the bootlid to get it off. Take a chiesel and bash the boot lid down and away from the spoiler Wink

Let me get photos of them to show condition.  The astray is broken, but the 'wood effect' plastic unclips and can go on the non wood ones (the astray mechanism is the same across all facelifts, its the front plastic the clip over that differs).

This is a 2000 car, so has the 'darker' type 'wood', not the glossy type fitted from 2001 onwards.

Camera is as flat as a witch's chest.  Just been out and visually checked - no real marks I can see, even in handbrake well where stuff is normally thrown!

Can't judge postage costs until removed, £20 + p&p for the 3 wood effect pieces (but not astray mechanism, which is destined for bin)?

Mirrors.
These are Elite mirrors, so have the feedback circuits in, cost a fortune to buy. Passenger one has a suspect feedback circuit (using the memory, often gets the height wrong!). They have a couple of marks - it is 10yrs old. Thus £35 for drivers, £15 for passenger.

Drivers CDL - £10

Centre console - this one is destined for bin as well Grin

All plus fair p&p (or collection if you nearby)

Does it have a rear spoiler, if so would be very interested.

Thanks

Yes, no idea if/how it attaches to bootlid  Undecided

OK would I be able to buy the bootlid with spoiler attached please.

Thanks

Mike

Are you in a hurry - as I'm stripping this slowly, as and when I get a bit of time, I am trying to keep the car 'waterproof', esp as I'm using the boot for storage Grin.  Thus want to keep boot in tact for a bit longer

Does the golden nugget have the speaker loop-back plug behind the drivers side kick panel?

My car currently has the BOSE amplifier and if I can get a loop-back plug it will make the job of fitting my Blaupunkt headunit a lot neater Thumbs Up!

This is a picture of the BOSE plug currently fitted to my car.

Will also need to change the speakers as well.... I'm guessing the parcel shelf / boot sub (depending on saloon / estate) will also be disabled.

I already have some 4 Ohm speakers, am kicking myself because I could have had the plug from the same car if I had known that I needed it at the time. Sad

Not fussed about losing the parcel shelf speakers, I want to recover the boot space  Thumbs Up!

Being an Elite, are the seat electric?  I'm looking for a drivers seat 'switch pack' i.e. the panel with the switches on to drive the electrics motors...

Managed to pick up a leather Elite interior but the drivers seat has the switches missing so at the minute relying on using a battery and long lead to manually move the seat - far from ideal!

No hurry  Thumbs Up!

NSF wing is (as far as I can see) rust free and ding free. couple of light stonechips around front edge.

OSF door would need to check, don't recall anything untoward about it.

OSR door. Nah. Rust at the wheelarch corner.

Yes, the bit of loom it joins to is in the sunroof panel (or middle/front of roof if no sunroof).  The original route will be challeging, as its runs under headling, then up into roof construction, which will be difficult for you without removing headlining.

Reckon you'll be better to tuck up into headlining along windscreen, and use a bit of stiffwire to get into the visor.

Got a double whammy - my normal lower back problems, compounded by the lightest of grazes on my shoulder blade that I keep digging grit from tunnie's driveway out of that is giving a surprising amount of sharp pains for such a small scratch.

But, you're right, its only pain, and a bit of pain never hurt anyone Thumbs Up!

Has it got a working rear door CL motor?

Also, a trivial bit - the plastic hinge pins for the fuse box / diag connector cover.

A Lambda sensor plug and socket would be handy too, in case we have to crack out the wideband Lambda sensor to do some LPG debugging.

So, err, I'm guessing you be better off looking elsewhere Grin.  Good luck with your search, sure many of the breakers have one Thumbs Up!

I'm in Didcot and my mate is in Didcot during the week but travels to Preston and back at the weekends. He goes home early on Friday morning and returns to Didcot on Sunday afternoon/ early evening so may be able to collect on Sunday on his way back down to work. Or failing that, one of our drivers lives in Brackley so he may even be able to collect.   Thumbs Up!

Would the door locks be the same as prefacelift, looking for a driver side door lock, solenoid is fine on it but the mechanism is in bits.

Was looking at £25 collected, else I'll put on my MV6.  Postage will be steep due to size Sad

I can get it as far as Luton for free, but not much further  Cry

Put it on your MV6, Jaime. Thumbs Up!

Due to it's size, it's going to be a hassle, so I think I'll pull out of the deal if that's OK with you.

Sorry for any inconvenience.  Embarrassed

The tank is pretty empty - contents now in MV6, Kawasaki and lawnmower Grin

The metal pipes out of top of tank are passed their best.  No reason to suspect that the rest of fuel lines are not good though.

Odd request, fuel lines......

But i'm guessing that the tank has fuel in.......

The tank is pretty empty - contents now in MV6, Kawasaki and lawnmower Grin

The metal pipes out of top of tank are passed their best.  No reason to suspect that the rest of fuel lines are not good though.

I will check which one it is and let you know tomorrow.  Thumbs Up!

Hi TB

It's the pipe furthest from the outside edge of the car, the feed from the fuel filter to the injector rail, guessing it will need to pull back through the inner wing from the rail. Mine is damaged on the connector in the middle so needs the entire run.....

When are you planning to dispose of the car? I've got some time off 26th onwards or could run up one evening.

I know you said non-engine parts only... guessing this is because of it's running issue?

If the 3.0 cams are available, how much do you want for them? Not much that can be wrong with them  Thumbs Up!

( I could collect them at the same time I badger you for a gearbox/climate update  Cheesy )

No engine parts simply because I hadn't got around to stripping the engine, and my back was giving me an awful lot of grief.

3l cams are out of car now, sat in an oil bath.  Divider plate still on engine.

£100 collected, no offers, first to bring the cash to me and pick them up will be the owner of them Wink

The suspension on this one would have been changed if I didn't break it, as its passed its best.  Therefore I would suggest to look elsewhere, sorry.

Is the DIS And leads believed to be working?

Appreciate new is the way to go - but if it's going cheap enough, I'll have 'em, to eliminate this damn elite issues.

Also, what sort of cost for the 2-4-6 cat?  Roll Eyes

I'm NOT going to sell DIS and leads, due to the issues.  I've proven spark, so reckon they are OK, but cannot, hand on my heart, say they are perfect.

I'm gonna keep them as spares in case mine fails anyway - my MV6 dumped 8l of coolant all over my dis at around 120mph, so suspect it will die at some point....

Hi TB.  Do you have the Power Steering Pressure Pipe.

Runs from the Power Steering Pump, (this part is flexi) then turns into a solid pipe, through to the front bumper, runs below the bumper iron, then back in the engine bay on the opposite chassis leg.....

Cheers, BM

I am ready to start selling body panels from this car now.  I aim to dispose of this car in the next couple of weeks.

Doors, £25 each, except OSR, £15 as this has rust in bottom corner.  All with loom/glass/electric winders/CDL motors etc.

Bootlid with Elite spoiler, £75

Bonnet, £25

All collection only, for obvious reasons...

Cheers TB.  It's about 4ft in length, so I see where you are coming from.

I've just left my broken pipe with a Hydraulic Hose Specialist, so *hopefully* they can repair/replace the damaged section.  If not, I'll happily pay for the courier charges rather than wait for the shower of crap, Vauxhall, who will have to ship one from Germany at extortionate prices.

Cheers, BM

What do you want from headlight washers - just nozzles, or pumps/relays/pipework etc

Not removed wiper motor - is linkage dettachable?

Sunroof button, just the knob - as the control bit is part of ecu/motor?

Self levelling sensors - yes

Shocks, no, sorry.

i'm interested in headlamp washers, windscreen wipers linkage from electric motor to windscreen arm, electric sunroof button, self leveling suspension sensor, self leveling headlight sensor and a good adjustable shock absorber. if you have any of these please pm me with a price for them.

What do you want from headlight washers - just nozzles, or pumps/relays/pipework etc

Not removed wiper motor - is linkage dettachable?

Sunroof button, just the knob - as the control bit is part of ecu/motor?

Self levelling sensors - yes

Shocks, no, sorry.

i need just the nozzles with the cover that mount on the spoiler
the linkage is detachable.. like i said i need the linkage betweeen the motor and the wiper arms.
i need the knob and the control bit because mine isn't working anymore Sad
please make me a price for each of them . thank you

The headlight washers have now sold on ebay, so no longer available.

Which part of the linkage is it...

Hi TB.  Do you have the Power Steering Pressure Pipe.

Runs from the Power Steering Pump, (this part is flexi) then turns into a solid pipe, through to the front bumper, runs below the bumper iron, then back in the engine bay on the opposite chassis leg.....

Cheers, BM

Checked it, whilst not leaking, heavy corrosion, so would suggest you look elsewhere. Sorry.

Many thanks for your honesty TB  Thumbs Up!

As it happens, the damaged section of pipe was replaced (Thanks to advice from 'Sixstring') and it's back on the road (ish) lol

Will he have to remove the bootlid ?

Thanks

Mike

If the doors sell, I wanted to sell them 'whole', just minus the doorcards and speakers.  If they don't sell, I will whip out the CDL motors and list them seperately....

You have PM  Thumbs Up!

Dear Jaime
Mums car is booked into WIM for 11.00am on Friday morning. Tony reckons it will take about 1.5 hours to do and then mum and dad will be on there way to you. I would estimat getting to you about 14.00.

Oh yes the boot lid does fit in the boot of a saloon, it has to be upside down if that makes sense.

Thanks Mike

OK, I like to remove them and check they aren't broken before confirming I can supply them (in case I break a part on removal).

I will get you prices if you like, but can't confirm I can supply them until they are removed.

rear nearside (left) suspension arm, same side as the front one...  Sensor on the rear opposite side is for the (if fitted) air suspension.

Hi TB,
Are the front wishbones in reasonable condition? And will they fit pre-facelift MV6?
If it means that you can't move the car without them fitted you can replace them with the ones that I have on at the minute.
Let me know and I can pop over to Brackley to collect them.
Cheers mate.

Hmmm, not sure I would be fitting 2nd hand wishbones to be honest, probably false economy, seeing as you need alignment checks afterwards.

Whilst when I last checked (before trip to Wales in late March) they were fine, its not something I would do.

Just need them to get me by for a bit while I save for the new ones. £225 a piece from vauxhall and work has been slow recently. Car is not usable at the minute and haven't got the money for the new ones so I just need a pair to get me mobile so I can give my missus hers back.

What about the really cheap, nasty ebay ones, just to see you through?

Long term, I think the Lemforder ones are the recommended ones, as GM are too dear.

Risky, don't buy from Vx... Lemforder are fine at about £110 pair delivered IIRCC.

I fitted a pair from ebay for about £53 delivered and they've lasted 2 years, and taken quite a bit of abuse if the truth be known Lips Sealed Roll Eyes Grin

Hi there TheBoy,

Have you got rear springs for saloon self levelling suspension?  I reckon the slightly old sagged look might be just what I need so my back carries on matching the front:)

Cheers
