Springs, chips, shocks, and alternate currency
01. Jun 2010 at 21:28

Had a bit of a clear out of the garage yesterday and found the following items suitable for Omega.  May (or may not) be of use to someone and, for kicks and giggles, will sell/exchange for cases of beer/bottles of malt, rather than cash.   Cheesy

Will deliver to Lakes meet if this assists, either for collection or onward transfer via OOF postal network.

Pair OE rear springs for MV6 saloon, swapped out from the Black Beastie that Guy now owns circa 55K miles for no other reason than I wanted lowered rear shocks/springs.  Suitable for pre/mini and facelift saloon.  Bottle Malt or Stella equivilant.

M-Tek tuning chip.  3 Bottles of malt (Jura/Lafroaig  preferred, but open to persuassion!

Pair new Monroe front struts.  Bought for Carlton GSi but dimensions appear same as per Omega.  Brake flex mounts appear different though.  Buyer must check.  Offers based arounda bottle or two or equivelant in Stella.  Hic!

Pair new no name rear shocks for Cavalier 1.7TD.  May suit 2.0 litre Omega but, again, buyer needs to confirm.  Offers.

Cheers!!   Cheesy   Thumbs Up!

ps - as you may guess, the proceeds of this sale will undoubtedly be drunk by those attending the Lakes meet.....   Wink

Might be in the market for the rear springs - presumably they are suitable for my prefacelift MV6?

I have some KYB's on back currently - back seems a bit soft/wallowy recently...  ...thinking of new shocks/springs...

I try not to - makes me really not nice to know, for some reason....   Angry   Smiley

M-Tek chip is for pre and minifacelifts.  Direct swap out and increases BHP by approx 20 brake or so, as I recall.  No doubt someone will correct/add in to confirm or otherwise.

So a noticeable difference then?

Getting bottles to you may prove difficult, any thoughts?
