Jul 2010 at 23:35 Hi All Need a nearside electric heated mirror for an 01 (X) mini FL 3.0 Elite saloon. Complete rear housing, front plastic surround &, I suspect, the metal innards c/w motor/loom etc Glass would also be handy, but not essential as that's the cheap bit! Prefer black, but if not black, no problem. Cheers

If the window buttons are on the door panel (and you have an opening panel on the door) then you have a facelift (door panel, at the least).

Incorrect.

Prefacelift - up to 1997, ribbed headlights, solid head restraints, no stereo buttons on steering wheel, Older MID etc
Minifacelift - 1998 and 1999, projector (or HID) headlights, solid headrests, audio controls on wheel, newer MID etc
Facelift - 2000-2003, Facelifted body, new interior, window buttons on drivers door...
