Auto Gear Lever Removal
08. Jul 2010 at 11:26

Can anyone advise what the process is for removing an auto gear lever once the centre console has been removed please.

I can see that there are 5 rivets to be removed, but cn I then do the rest from inside the car or do I have to get underneath.

It seems like there is a single coupling/joing which will go through the hole at the lower end - but I dont want to go about it in the wrong way and hope that I can do everything from inside the car.

TIA .......... Rob

you will have to drill the rivets out, then there is a single clip holding the lever to the selector shaft, so yes youll have to go underneath!, Thumbs Up!
