wanted alternator

alternator needed for 2.0 mini pre f/lift. mine doesnt seem to be  charging battery. i have elite interior so would prefer more capable unit to cope with extra amps. does anyone know if four pot diesel unit fits straight on? Thumbs Up!

Don't want to tread on your toes too much, MutantCav, but I have a v6 alternator here, o.p. is welcome to pop to Wolverhampton and see if it's compatible.

Pretty sure they are different enough that it wouldnt be a straight swap...

please accept apologies for mucking you all about but my car keeps going flat on me so i need to ascertain if i have a knackered alternator or crap battery, although its of a 3.o transit!! or if i have a current drain please forgive me till i figure it out or if you have any advise please feel free to pm me Thumbs Up!
