Just putting feelers out at the moment fo see if any one has got one for sale.

3.2 facelift saloon.


May also require one for a 3.0 saloon mini facelift.

I'd swap mine for a genuine VX double walled item in A1 condition.......

My stainless system is from cat back. Still prefer the original exhaust

The original system was double skinned, the middle sections and back box were double skinned.
That's where the problem now arises, if you then need to replace the system, VX no longer produce the original system, only a single skinned system which is nowhere near as good as the original.
Of the aftermarket single skinned systems, eternalcar proves to be the best.
I would have a double skinned original system over anything else on offer.

I have a stainless backbox but it's only got 1 inlet pipe so will reduce performance somewhat even if it does sounds lovely..

Being new to omegas, is the double skinned thing all about comfort as in how quiet they were?

Or is it some crazy heat / conduction / performance related thing. As the Ascona with the 3.0 runs a custom stainless system with headers but, my god its loud. My MV6 is on a generic system and is just starting to blow near the front somewhere, so this was a good thread to see crop up.
