Omega Parts for FREE (Well nearly)
20. Oct 2010 at 21:15

I have a few Omega bits left and I want my garage back. I've tried ebay a couple of times and they haven't gone so I think it's time to get rid regardless.

Taken from a facelift Omega Saloon paint code z489 or z479 (sorry can't remember).

I have.....
Rear offside light, slight crack but doesn't let water in
Complete boot lid (carpet, lights, badges etc)
Bonnet (No grill)
A pair of illuminated sun visors.
Wing mirrors (offside black plastic cracked and mark on outer skin)
Xenon style headlight switch unit, (IE no headlight level adjust) could probably do with a new knob.
Steering wheel with airbag & squib, not the bestest condition, marks on the wheel.

The price is easy, everything is FREE collected, well nearly, what I am asking is that you make a donation to OOF, I'm not specifying amounts and it will be based on trust. I won't/can't be bothered posting stuff out. It just isn't worth my time.

Please don't take the mick, only take stuff you need yourself, not stuff you want to sell on. Please don't request stuff, as/if I find more, I'll either add it to this thread or create a new one.

I would ask that this is limited to members with 50 messages and have been a member for over 2 mths (I'm doing this to stop people signing up just to grab a freebie, I want you guys to benefit). It's first come first served, by the same token, unless otherwise agreed, it needs to be collected in 7 days, or it will be re-advertised.

Thanks for looking,

Dave

I love posts like this, very good of you. I just hope this is allowed, it would be really silly if you HAD to specify a set price.  Roll Eyes

Chris,
The mirror has your name on it. As for the carpet, it's the bootlid carpet and it's kinda fastened to the lid. I don't mind dropping the carpet off for you, but I suspect you mean the boot floor carpet.

As for the steering wheel, it's not amazingly bad, there are some marks/lines on the wheel part, it could be classed as wear, but I just don't want people to be upset if it doesn't meet expectations. I can take pics over the weekend if you want to see it.

To be 100% honest, although it appears I am being generous, I am in fact being 100% selfish. I say that because I just want stuff gone. I have collected far too much stuff. If I can help a forum that has helped me in the past, I am only too glad to. I like this place.

Yeah, boot floor carpet, and the first aid cupboard door as it happens, does it screw to the boot floor? Hinge has bust on this one. But we should discuss my needs elsewhere, don't want hog d's thread.  Thumbs Up!

Not a problem mate. I'm only sorry that I don't have the other bits you need.
