WANTED: ABS ECU & other pre-fl Elite bits, please!

Hi again gents,

Well, my mate has finally bitten the bullet and become a fellow Omega owner!!!

In order to get the old girl up to standard, we're after an ABS ECU. Number 0 273 004 205 it's a 98my 2.5 TD Auto; which from previous posts I am led to believe is crucial to be off an identical car.

The list for now is...
ABS ECU
Full set of switches inc rear heated seats switches
If you have a Polar Sea blue car near me (N E Lincolnshire) with decent panels he may be interested too in front wings.
Decent tyres on elite alloys. (alloy condition secondary, but any rubber so long as 'ok' condition or above, really)

If one person could provide all this it would make things easier as he's on a tight budget (like most!) and hasnt really the cash to drive to several destinations round the country. But if you do have a suitable donor vehicle we would be interested in collecting and save you the hassle of postage.

Ideally both front wings we were after.. may I ask what state doors are in? I apologise for being so picky, but they'd have to be very good condition. I'm just thinking what else we may be able to utilise from an MV6, being as its the 'coolest' trim level.

The passenger wing is wanted by someone but they want to paint it so I may be able to find another for them and let you have the two Z282 wings. I'm waiting to hear back from a forum member who was after the doors but I have some photos HERE

Thanks for that, very informative pics, I especially love the captions!

I don't want to waste your time, we're just provisionally looking at replacing doors etc. It's all down to how much money we spend on getting it to MoT standard, hopefully there will be some left in the kitty for cosmetic stuff like wings/doors.

Purely as a matter of interest, why is there no 'MV6' badge on the front door rubbing strips? I thought all pre-fl had them?

Just to keep all posted, I now have located an ABS ECU! JUst to say thanks for all the help that's been given so far.

On my travels I also know of the whereabouts of a bleedin' lovely black leather mini-fl interior, no memory on seats, but drivers seat looks very little wear. All other seats look un-worn Thumbs Up!
