You just want the tensioner wheel with the bearing.  Undo nut in centre (15mm), remove old, fit new and retighten nut  Thumbs Up!  2 minutes!!  Refit belt as per diagram above.

exellent you lot have saved me some serious time before i've even started. Grin
one other question i have a front wheel hub to replace also and have read some silly torque figures for tightening it! over 300nm would i just get away with tight as i can on a 3' bit of scaffhold?

If it really does have to be that tight, use a trolley jack to raise the 3ft Scaff Bar on a very good ratchet and socket, then lower/raise/lower/raise etc until you have reached the desired torque.  Thumbs Up!

belt fixed folks new issue now broken (hall)? sensor so my mate says car runs but not as sweet as usual engine managment light on but goes out at high revs.
does that sound like a proper diagnosis?
