Dec 2010 at 19:07: is the tensioner an easy fix? You just want the tensioner wheel with the bearing. Undo nut in centre (15mm), remove old, fit new and retighten nut 2 minutes!! Refit belt as per diagram above.

If it really does have to be that tight, use a trolley jack to raise the 3ft Scaff Bar on a very good ratchet and socket, then lower/raise/lower/raise etc until you have reached the desired torque. Thumbs Up!

Dec 2010 at 19:22 belt fixed folks new issue now broken (hall)? sensor so my mate says car runs but not as sweet as usual engine managment light on but goes out at high revs. does that sound like a proper diagnosis?
