Hi all, my wife gave me an ipod for chrissy and i have a stereo in the car that can connect through a usb jack at the back of it, i was just wondering if anyone knows of a good holder which has the plug mounted in it so i don't have to fish around for a free floating wire in the glovr box for example! any help much appreciated, thanks richi

thanks for the replies, i saw that one but what i really want is just a fixed holder with a cable that is always in there to go back into the stereo and all you need to do is slip the ipod into it, all i seem to find is ones with fm transmitters or just holders which you then have to plug in the ipod every time it's, an ipod classic 160gb

http://www.brodit.com/

They don't make a cradle with the cable included but they do make a vast array of cradles that are specifically designed to take various makes of cables in..

According to the instructions you install the cable into the holder, securing it with a grub screw, then install the holder to the car and then you can just insert and remove your iPod.

Oh, yes - all of their cradles are 'universal' - you then buy the 'mount' to attach it to the specific car. For example they make four mounts for a facelift LHD Omega (two go by the stereo, two go by the handbrake area)..

You'll see the search box on their website, anyway Smiley

Swedish company so availability in Europe is good but they're not cheap, and the Austrian distributor is:
