the thing that really kills cars is a change of use.

if, for instance, it's been lying around doing 50 miles a week for ten years and then you go doing 1000 a week, you'll get problems.

As discovered by an Australian mate of mine who bought a V12 XJS from a vicar then set off across the outback. Roll Eyes

That said, he was working for HSV so not sure what he was doing in an XJS.

Hi mine has done 239,000 it was a reps car and was very well looked after,its one of the best cars i have had and is doing 43mpg average never burns a drop of oil Thumbs Up!

Mind the taxi MOT is more extensive I know I would buy a ex taxi/private hire from the falkirk area as all cabs are MOT every 6 months to keep there hackney. Thumbs Up!
