Was checking out an iratic idle yesterday to discover the Rubber hose to the SAI valve and the valve melted in places. Anybody had this before and know of a cause for this problem. I can find a replacement hose on Ebay but no Valve. I am describing the plastic valve on the NSF of the engine bay on a 2.5 V6 if anybody can help.

Ive heard of it before, and sure it was diagnosed to a partially blocked exhaust causing too much back pressure, so check this out before replacement else the same could happen again  Thumbs Up!
