hi guys just read a post, regarding another member asking for advise on removing middle exhaust box for more v6 sound, which was promptly answered,no probs as long as he is friendly with Mr Mot man,? my mig has no middle boxes or rear box instead fitted by previous owner with straight twin pipes does this mean i haven't hope of passing my Mot. Cry
Cheers John

It depends on your tester but the  mot manual states  the reason for rejection(a fail)

"so that the noise emitted from the vehicle is clearly unreasonably above the level expected from a similar vehicle with a standard silencer in average condition"

Only if the emissions fail  if they go though then its just an advise.

I thought it was just the rear box that had gone John.

After the rear box it splits in to two, then two boxes, side by side, then the cats before the engine.

Did the chap, two owners prior to you remove both the rear box AND the side by side boxes.

Put it this way, do you know if Tim put it through an MOT. He didn't touch the exhaust.

long time no hear mate, yip side by sides are missing as well, but i do hold a valid mot cert, well at least until of month,so with 4x Goodyear F1 asymetric and a part exhaust system and a trip to Wheels in Motion to find out what needs doing, this bus is getting bloody expensive, considering miss miggy hasn't clocked 250 miles since i blinded by beauty...
