Omega Owners Forum - Vacuum hoses

zirax Intermediate Member Offline Posts: 262 Drives: Focus mk1, MR2 mk1, MV6	Vacuum hoses 13. Jan 2011 at 22:40 I've had a look at my Omega and I think there is a vacuum pipe missing. It is the one going from the T-piece of the front multi-ram to the vacuum res at the bottom of the inlet ducts. Does anyone know a part number for this?

Jan 2011 at 08:06 from what seen on here it gose no were just sits at the back of the engine but maybe wrong but thats what seen in old posts.

Jan 2011 at 08:17 ignore the prat above, he is refering to a gearbox breather at the back of the engine, not the multiram system at the front Dont think vacuum pipes have part numbers, are just cut off the roll in effect, beleive a decent factors should have it.

Jan 2011 at 10:46 Does anyone have dimensions for these hoses? 3mm/4mm or what size are they? The one under the front of plenum seems to be quite loose on many omegas and does not affect that much... I have no noticed any difference when it has come off...

Any body breaking omegas will have a few miles of the stuff, certainly the guy in Heathrow was giving it away, with other purchases.

Maybe a wanted add here. ?

But is it worth posting a Picture so we can be sure?

Yep, it is the piece that goes from the Res to the T-piece behind the inlet hose.

I may take you up on that offer! I will have a proper look under the bonnet tomorrow and check that is the only piece I need.
