lack of power when cold

my 2.6 omega elite starts first turn of the key but is slugish to drive untill it starts to warm up then it pulls great. can any one help.

I have seen this as a symptom of a failing MAF sensor but the codes will confirm so do a pedal check and see what is reported. Thumbs Up!
