Hello,
My turbo has just thrown the towel in, clattering and loads of smoke and flames coming from it.  Cry Cry CryAre these repairable, or will it have to be a brand new unit ???  My fingers and everything else are crossed for a repair.
Does any one know???

are you sure its the turbo?? does it still work?? go to a garage and see for sure. if you are sure then the turbo can be repaired(reconditioned). there is a kit for every turbo. in my country a new turbo is over 1000pounds and its not even a garett Sad, but to recondition it its under 200pounds. but there is always a possibility to buy a sh one Smiley

Yes it's the Turbo.
Does any one on here know if they can be repaired, or if any one sells recon's? can anyone point me in the right direction. Cheers

Just simply Google Garrett Turbos.
