Anyway fully com insurance. Do I need to contact my insurance company 1st or does the windscreen company do it. and does this effect no claims bonus. Or is it just a case of paying excess. cheers.

I had to pay £60 but should not effect your No Claims Bonus

Had the same as daz a few months ago. £65 excess but replaced quickly and no effect on No Claims bonus Thumbs Up!

That happened to me a couple of days ago, huge rock, preceded by some small bit, all in a flash, I ducked as it came towards the screen, surprisingly small area of damage but will need sorting, right in the centre of the screen.... Angry

Feb 2011 at 23:11 Only ever had one replaced - on my old mig just before I sold it. I paid (£100) for it myself, not on insurance. I did hear that when you had yours replaced, you realised afterwards that it was your glasses cracked and not the screen.

I did hear that when you had yours replaced, you realised afterwards that it was your glasses cracked and not the screen. Cheesy
