omega mv6 (Read 429 times)

Feb 2011 at 21:17 hi guys new to the site and was wondering if anyone can help me . i have a omega mv6 which i have just bought last week . now when the car is sitting stationary the exhaust is giving out a lot of steam/smoke is this anything to worry about

Feb 2011 at 22:23 really nice car had a 52 plate vectra 3.2 gsi which i sold a while back and regretted it . seen this advertised locally by a old guy who is emigrating and got it very cheap . unmarked leather full service history and mint silver paintwork . think it possibly needs a wheel bearing but apart from that the car drives extremely well

Observe the exaust gasses on a windless day steam will disappear very quickly smoke will hang in the air. Chances are it's just steam Thumbs Up!

Feb 2011 at 10:20 Hello and Welcome My previous 2.6 and my current 3.2 both produce lots of vapour from the exhaust, so don't think you need worry! A good run and getting up to running temperature usually sorts things out
