2.2 dti exhaust

My 2.2 dti's exhaust is getting a bit thin ( fair wear & tear)  so no complaints. It is going to need  a replacement from the cat backwards. Does anyone have any comments about a replacement - Vauxhall dealer? Kwikfit or the like and what sort of price would be fair?
Thanks in advance and for the superb help and advice on this forum.

Being a diesel, I personally would be considering genuine. Not sure if they are on TC, and how much.

A company I've used (for petrol Omegas) is Eternal. Good price, reasonable quality - superior to the junk that the likes of ShitFit sell at over inflated prices.

They are not difficult to fit.

i'm hijacking this to ask a question about exhaust. from cat backward it all looks fine, even painted it with some bronze paint to make it last longer but the cat cover is exfoliated almost completely. should i change it or just leave it like this until it brakes, although i won't know that until mot because diesel could run without exhaust and not a sound will be heard more than the usual Tongue

They all go like that, I've seen ones on 3.2's that shed the outer layer of 'tin' with time but still operate correctly.

Personally i'm looking to ditch the cat under the floor pan (No emissions test in the Uk for diesels), would be nice to ditch the one connected directly to the turbo as well!
