No Heater From 99 Elite

Just got a new car and have a combination of no heat from the heater and the car mists up inside really quick unless the fans on trying the heat the car...

Could well be some dampness due to it being winter with no heat but think it may be more than coincidience tbh and the condensation is from the heating system leaking??

My thoughts are that either the particulate filter thing needs cleaning/unblocking or the heater system needs flushing...any other ideas??

Check the scuttle drains are clear of debris & the pollen filter is dry. Thumbs Up!

No heat .. possible HBV stuck closed ??? check the pipes from the HBV to the heater matrix for heat .. should be VERY hot. Take the vac pipe off the HBV, no vac = heat .. (but block the vac pipe with a screw or similar)

Misting up .. as mentioned .. scuttle, filter .. but also the little cubby hole in the boot -right hand side, right down the bottom the vents that get rid of all the stale air in the car .. make sure they are not blocked by bits of rag/paper etc etc.. Smiley
