Oil Loss

well i went for 200 mile round drive and half way into it the check oil came on so toped up and has being ok.

i got home and have seen small amounts of oil on the tray at bottom but none on my drive.

now i canrt find or see where coming from is there anything i can do to see where is from??

I would check around your cam covers, and certainly have a look in a few spark plug holes.   There are many places oil can leak from of course, but the cam cover gaskets are one of the first places to start looking on a miggy!! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

If they are leaking they need replacing, and the breather system cleaned in its enterity Wink

I personally have always relied on a visual and "touchy round the engine" check to find oil leaks, so never used anything else.

Perhaps someone on here knows of such a dye. Wink
