sealing door seals?
15. Feb 2011 at 18:45

Hi finally got round to fixing door lock motor and thanks to Kevin wood's excellent fix it manual it has only cost me £1.45 from RS.

I'm just putting door card back on and the bit I peeled back is not sticky any more, what glue is best to use to seal to the metal door?

Regarding the door motor lock repair It was just as Kevin said one of the micro switchs had stopped working, was a fiddly repair as the switch is held in by lugs on the plastic body as well as being soldered. The new switch does not come with the side lugs so hopefully the switch will be ok relying on the soldering.

I find the best adhesive is one of the spray can flooring ones.

I used double sided tape, but also considered evo stick impact adhesive.
