Bumping this thread to ask a question of any MaxiScan owners Wink

Having just discovered that my venerable Gendan ELM323 scanner doesn't connect to the Omega (and from what I can gather, shouldn't Sad

) I thought I might pick up a scanner that will..

The MS509 will work with a 2001 3.2, yes/no?

(The CEL just came on - the usual 0430 & 0420 - and it would be nice to be able to reset it myself Wink

)

Mar 2011 at 21:37 I bought the one from the Barry recommended site - used my keyfob repair funds to pay for it. No error codes but I reset the ECUs just need to learn to use it. I want to monitor the emmisions to redo the LPG setup

I did some googling and (at least the one I have) it looked like the elm323 requires a pin that's not connected on the diagnostic port..
