I know this has come up before but I must say how good this site is.
Ive contacted a Fiesta forum for advice useless unless you want go faster stripes. And a Seat forum which was about the same.
So well done everyone here that has and will continue to give useful practical advice.

PS anyone know how to clear service indicator on a 57 plate Ibiza 1.2

Thanks

Not sure if it'll be for the right model but rings a bell Thumbs Up!

As for this forum... By far the best, most friendly one I've ever been a member of  Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!

Found this one -

The service indicator is set for approx every 9-10k miles or 1 year approx.

To switch it off you need to..
* start with the engine off
* out of the 2 buttons in middle of the speedo revometer press and hold in the right one (if i remember rightly) for approx 15 seconds
* whilst holding this in turn the key so the electrics come on (and for another 5 seconds)
*then turn the engine on so that the car starts.

This should turn the light off for you!

reset is done with the button to the left bottom of speedo-press the button in and while held in turn on ignition, release the button and the word "service" will appear in the milage display, turn the same button to the right untill "---" appears in the display, let go of button and turn ignition off. reset done, hope that helps Thumbs Up!
