only been riding two years, I took my big bike test on a Yamaha MT-03, bit 660cc single thumper, I liked it so much (compared to the Crapazaki ER5's I was using before) I bought one after I passed:

...

But I wanted something ability to carry things, tent ect, hot days I wanted to change out of big bike gear when I got to my destination.

So I sold it 6 months after I bought it, for the same price  Cheesy

Bought a BMW R1200 GS instead....

...

...

Got some trips planned this year Isle of Man TT, might be doing Scotland two week tour in May, but thats uncertain now  Undecided

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

A long, long line since 1975.
Suzuki GT 185
Yamaha RD250 (pre-water cooled)
Suzuki GT 380
Honda CB550 F2
Suzuki GT 550
Honda CB400-4
Suzuki Bandit 600
Honda VFR800
+ a few other unmentionables in between

...

I loved them all (except the Yam) but the VFR was sooo nice.  I sold it once then re-bought it after passing it every day for four weeks on the way to work. I couldn't stand looking at it sobbing in the shop window.

Sadly it has now gone forever but it will always be in my heart. The reality was it was too easy to speed and after getting a second pull in as many weeks from Mr Plod and his speedy camera I decided it was time to hang up my helmet. Cry Cry Cry

Perhaps someone could pass that message on to my Yamaha YZ Moto X  Grin Grin. It does its best to kill me every time I go out on it. Power valve two stroke which has power band either on or off, nothing in the middle. Especially lairy when on tarmac or maybe I'm just too old for it now. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Thumbs Up!

Regards
Alan

Lambrettas and Vespas when I was about 14 and finished with an old RD400 about 6 years ago. Think its time for a GPZ900R as i've always fancied having one of them Smiley
