2.2 crank sensor location. (Read 1858 times)

Arkansawchugubug Newbie Offline Posts: 19 Kent Gender: Drives: Omega 2.2	2.2 crank sensor location. 30. Mar 2011 at 19:43 Hi, did several searches but I can't find any advice on where to find the crank sensor on my 2.2. Can anyone help a not too technically minded person?

No, the cam sensor is inside the cambelt cover, but the crank sensor isn't. The cable for the crank sensor does indeed run over the top of the cambelt cover, the Kwik Fit man is right. Shocked

Here's a piccy of what Rob was describing, the crank sensor relative to the base of the dipstick tube:
