Personally, I'd fit new ones... 2nd hand springs are a false economy IMO Thumbs Up!

They don't have to be Genuine Vx... Aftermarket would be fine Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!

Experimentation is the issue here.  Thought I would try & locate a set that are definately from 3.0 MV6 to try first.

as trying to get the car to sit at 660/670mm at rear to match front.

Once I have the required height I can try & match the springs with new ones.

Another question is do aftermarket list a MV6 spring as different from an Elite or std?

Was looking on the internet somewhere the other night where one supplier stated all V6 rear springs are the same -  were as I feel sure they are not - MV6 or LSC (Lowered Sports chassis) will allow the car to ride slightly lower & feel firmer. Also are Estate springs longer or firmer ?  So can't see how they are all the same Undecided Undecided

Hmmm, now, iirc and note my memory is particularly poor, there is reference to pre face lift mv6 springs being the same as stock, also seen referance that any lowering is done on shocks.

Lsc is face lift only, fairly sure on that one. If someone with epc can check the ident on rear springs for pre face mv6 I can check the set I have in the garage.

Or I can post up the ident letters if I can find them later in the week if nothing better comes up keen time. Front shocks and springs with reattach springs iirc. No rear shocks.

Ps, remind me, has self levelling been dropped to lowest on the sensor arm to see how far it drops on the springs?
