I replaced the ABS ecu, and now my cruise control doesn't work.
(TBH, it might not have worked before - but I was told it did!)
Is the cruise control controlled by the ABS ecu, so might just need activating via tech2?
or am I likely to have another problem?
I've had a look at previous threads re. cruise problems, and I can't see any obvious problems (like cable disconnected etc)

Reply #1 - 31. Mar 2011 at 13:05 The only part the ABS plays is providing a speed signal. So if the speedo is working then its not the ABS at fault.

Mar 2011 at 17:08 It could be a red herring. I'm not definite that the cruise control on mine ever worked. I know it's got the winter pack AND the cruise fitted, which elitepete says was never standard. So it's possible someone has retro-fitted it, and never activated it.
