The kyb catalogue is viewable on line

But I have kyb sl springs here marked rj 6227.

Sure that's correct or I was supplied the wrong springs they are certainly soft.

I ordered and fitted a pair of KYB.rj 6227 to my Elite Saloon as a direct replacement for my original springs which were for a self levelling set up.

They were a perfect fit and the exact same length to those removed.

I had alook at the KYB catalogue and was even more confused (it's not difficult really  Roll Eyes) but having read this :- http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1243006966
and after looking at Marks dtm maintenance guide (which shows a RJ6226 spring) I decided to go with this spring - gave my reg to buypartsby so hopefully  Roll Eyes they will send me the right one.
Thanks for all replies  Thumbs Up!

Buypartsby have sent me a RX5413 spring after I ordered RJ6226 springs but having said that it does look the correct spring - note spring (singular) - they also sent me a front spring 504142 Angry

I would suggest a call to KYB but that said when I asked them if the spring had a top and bottom they said " I dont think that it matters"    Think?

Springs I ordered only had a part number and no arrow for direction.

Sort further advise off forum and it appeared that it didn,t matter which way they were fitted,as long as you ensure the "pigtail"at the top is facing the rear of the car.

Also ensure that the top is located onto the groove within the rubber cushion pad.Well that is how I fitted mine and have had no issues since..and now covered about 3k
