I disagree Im afraid. If you know it needs a head gasket, then morally you shouldnt hide the fact when you want to sell it.
Personally,I wouldnt be able to sleep at night if I did that.

That's my dilemma. I have a conscience that i can ill afford. Don't really want to do that. I'd be peed off if i bought a car like that.

Just after all the money i've spent don't know what else to do? Undecided Cry

Imo Guy, you either fix it before you sell it, or you take a hit in the wallet the other way by selling it as it is, which no doubt will reduce the price by quite a bit.

if it is between the water jacket to the outside of the block yes it is a water leak

if on the other hand it has gone from water jacket to  cylinder  as that is non repairable with k-seal
then no i would replace the gasket

If i wanted to keep her yes i'd pay out to do both gaskets but as i said i've had enough & want rid. Spent a fortune already, enough is enough, the Beastie bank is SHUT! Time for a change.

So if you wanted rid what would you do?

Spent or invested? Not many used cars have a penny more than the bare minimum to keep them MOTd lavished on them, so assuming that's what you're going to replace it with, you might end up starting all over again. If you have an otherwise looked-after car with a single fault, you throw away all that investment when you sell. Undecided

Replace the head gaskets and you have a car that's been looked after, and if the job is done properly you will have no more trouble.

Then again, if you've had enough with the car, rather than the expense, sell it. Not sure I'd want it on my conscience if I'd sold with a known fault either, though. Undecided

Being honest Guy, I would break it. Its a sad fact but a well spec'd Omega is worth far more for in parts than it is as a whole Cry
