My ex had a few (I loved them, personally) - I watched her get one done on the back of her neck in some market stall tattoo place in Taipei .. it looked most painful to me, even if she insisted it was a 'good' kind of pain!

Quite the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had, and I was only watching it Grin
