Webby, if your replacement AirCon control unit is new (as in never fitted to a car) it will be in 'delivery' mode & you will need to have it activated by Tech 2. I have one in my shed that I bought to replace the worn buttons on mine & thought I could just replace the old with the new  Roll Eyes
as for needing the radio code, I believe you can turn off the coding but the owners Audio Manual states the sequence of events is on page 17 (CDC6000) only it aint! Sad Maybe someone who has done this in the past can help? Wink

right on form im stumped at the first hurdle  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

ive took out the 4 screws with an alan key... but do you think i can get the radio out  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed it seems to be stuck.

any ideas?

have you not got the 'double din' keys?

like

and DONT pull on the fascia, expensive mistake to make when it comes off in your hand  Thumbs Up!
