As above really....

Some of you might know that Alb used me and my van to tow his ceased Miggy that he bought in Hailsham back to his gaff in sunny Essex...

Well i've not long owned the van and only ever used it for very short journeys, i'd noticed some squealing coming from the front but not really taken much notice of it.....

Here's what i was greeted with when i removed the front wheel from where the squealing was coming from:

...

The chips missing are from my 'helping' the disc away from the hub

The thickness of that front surface of the disc was down to 2-3mm due to the pad having NO braking material on it at all!!  The noise it made was unreal!!

And here's the after:

...

Much better!! Grooved Brembo discs with Mintex pads  8)

Pulls up lovely now

Thought i'd share this with you all!  Grin Grin Grin

Cheers!

Paul.

If you have a look in the passenger footwell Im sure you will find 2 very deep sized 9 imprints in the metal.
The sound of metal on metal was bad enough going down to Hailsham, but with over 2 tonnes of omega and trailer hitched to the rear on the way back it was fecking teriffying. Roll Eyes Shocked Grin Grin
I suggested calling at Hellfrauds for a set of discs and pads on the way down but Paul said I worry too much. Cheesy Grin Grin
