Whats everyones average MPG, I'm currently getting 27.5 in a 2.5, Is this about the norm?

I would say that's a decent figure, if from a manual just above average, if an auto then it's doing well.
My 2.6 manual gets up to 32 mpg realistically and can go down very low when it wants  Grin

my old 2.5 man used to average 28 mpg ( mostly trips out of town )  Thumbs Up!

Mine's still managing 25ish mostly short runs in town, and in spite of running on 5ish cylinders. Undecided

24.4 mpg in a 4.0 auto  Lips Sealed

Cruising at 60 gets roughly 30 mpg. bout the same as my old 2.0 manual omega  Shocked

55.3 MPG ( but then again it is a 1.6 Diesel Citroen) but does have the load capacity only marginally smaller than an Omega Estate! Smiley

I'm not telling because it reveals my driving style Roll Eyes Mind you, I was running a bit late getting to Cambridge this morning and managed to improve it to 23mpg average Lips Sealed

The trouble with LPG is that you don't worry as much! Grin

3.0 MV6 estate
25.6 mpg averaged over the last 500 miles.

That's mainly 10-15 mile trips on 30 and 40 roads with the odd motorway stretch (at 60!), and carrying 200-300kgs of books on the return trip

Should add... The was the MID reading (which is accurate on petrol) so probably around 17-18mpg on LPG Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Only just got mine  Grin 3.0 MV6 manual average 29 mpg managed to get it as low as 14mpg on a private road of course  Thumbs Up!
