year/spec doesn't matter as long as it's same engine and gearbox, and part number AFAIK  Thumbs Up!

Has to be the same type of ABS/ECU which the 96 wont have mate...same engine and box type and I believe maybe wheel size...ABS/TC ECU changed with the introduction of mini facelift...
