I was annoyed as well, but am used to loosing my post count at the whim of an admin and certainly if DLK has anything to do with it... Roll Eyes

However, it has been quiet around here recently and a couple of weeks ago, or so, DLK livened the night up and it was like the old days, in fact possible why things are a little quiet may be that DLK, now a Mod, is not available to take the P*ss out of like the old days, lets chill a bit, the serious stuff is in the other threads, this in general chat, perhaps it should read, P taking debate...... Cheesy

What a thread! Firstly despite various episodes/film versions the Sweeney "Granada" was a Consul 3.0 GT as per the general dispute everywhere not just here. The Consul/Granada range replaced the Zephyr/Zodiac range in 1972? Ford used the name Consul on countless models since the 50's (i won't bore you with them all..but i could!!) & this was the last use of the name. In this form the Consul was the budget version of the Granada spec wise & in real low spec was initially available with the godawful 2.0 V4. All this range had the sunken clock dash. They were facelifted in 74/75? with a new dash, grille & the drop dead gorgeous Coupe was introduced. Whilst they remained Mk1 Granadas the Consul name was dropped, & the top of the range GXL became the Ghia.

Sorry, most of you probably could'nt give a doodle but i love my old Fords that much i had to remove my anorak & stop...i could've gone on!!!

Regarding Lizzie as i've said openly in the past she can be over sensitive, take things to heart & be a tad difficult when her feathers are ruffled but who am i to sit in judgement of that? With 10,000+ members there is bound to be a wide spectrum of characters & personalities which at times will inevitably clash but in my humble opinion if we were all of a calm patient nature it would be pretty dull & by the same count if we were all of a volatile nature the whole thing would be unworkable so i feel we need both to maintain an equilibrium.

Yes Lizzie can be a pain but she's an intelligent informed girl who i hope will continue to play her part among us.

i got the impression that she was exasparated on someone elses behalf about the whole post count thing rather than being bothered about her own, when she voiced that opinion a lot of people jumped down her throat and she felt the need to leave. I for one would hate to think its permanent, hopefully she'll have a nice, relaxing weekend and come back fighting soon Thumbs Up!
