Received the reminder for car tax today and it says £245 for 12 months.

However just looked at renewing it online and I will now have to pay £260   Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad.

No, yours is pre 2001 so does not get that higher bracket, yours will be £215, just same as mine  Thumbs Up!

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

They will charge the new rate.  I have taxed perhaps 35 cars since the start of the month....   Wink

Forgot it went up this month. If you go the post office then as said above you still get charged the new rate. Happened to me a while ago Sad.
