Best place to get ATF & filters? (Read 592 times)

Apr 2011 at 11:33 Looking to follow recommended 60k interval for ATF and filter change. Can anyone advise where I should be getting the bits from? I have a TC and use Walkers of Selby as a main dealer though local Motor factors are good guys.

About £30 + postage for gaskets and filter and prompt delivery last time I did the job.

Apr 2011 at 13:41 Elite Pete did mine recently, I got both gaskets and filter from JPAT for £23 delivered, and Halfords were, and still are doing 5l of Comma Dexron III ATF for £15.

I've just emailed JPAT for a new filter (been told they cost approx £15)...I've already bought the gaskets from VX (£18 inc vat on the TC). ATF wise I have gone with the Fuchs Titan 4000 (ordered earlier from Opie Oils). I am a bit put off using the Comma stuff, maybe its fine but for the sake of £20 difference in the cost of oil versus a huge repair bill if its not up to the job....I've gone for the former!!

Trace card holder, anyone local free to use if required.
