Looks good outside and looks even better on the inside. As long as the engine has been looked after, should be a good buy!  Smiley

Hm now that is interesting, even swmbo heard me thinking..... Shocked Shocked

12v engine, how did these perform and what would mpg be?   Possibly thinking of getting a Toy, and giving my Mig to swmbo and getting a small diesel run around for work..... Undecided Undecided Undecided

performance between a 12v & 24v is like chalk & cheese, but that's not to say a 12v is slow. As Graeme says, you can't break a 12v ..... they last for ever & you can't give the engines away.  Thumbs Up! Thumbs Up!

Aye, I'd love a 24v (in manual flavour - sorry Andy...  Embarrassed  Grin), but this one looks like a genuine example.

I keep looking at my bank balance, doing the sums, but it ain't happening...  Cry

An ABS member swapped 2 pedals for 3 in a Senator and liked it that much he took the third pedal back out. I've never driven one, but they say that a manual Senator isn't that great ........... like an Omega  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Hummm manual Omega with 24v Senny engine + LPG?  Cheesy

Much better than those Poxy V6's  Lips Sealed

Do you break V6's as often as TheBoy? Then you need tunnie's towing services, recovery costs are just the humiliation of being towed by 2/3's of an engine

Torquey and performance similar to smaller Omega V6s

2.5 Senator is a waste of time 2.0 Carlton was much better.

I would like to see what happens to a v6 if someone bored it out to 3.6,fitted twin turbos and increased the power output by around 75%.  Wink
I agree about the 2.5 senny btw. I wouldnt even bother with a 3.0 12v. It has to be the 24v. Thumbs Up!
